As regular readers will be aware I can’t allow an issue of Chat to pass without mention of former colleague Laura Boswell.
Her latest triumph is to be one of only six printmakers in the whole world to be selected to attend this year’s print course at Nagasawa in Japan.
At the end of September she will be jetting off to the other side of the world for eight weeks for an intensive course in the ancient Japanese tradition of woodblock printing.
She also tells me that before she leaves she has to get ready for four exhibitions that are all happening while she’s in Japan.
